This is only 5am morning routines that are making my morning 100% more productive with a real schedule that works for busy moms who work 9 to 5, and of course is perfect for me and my goals. 😁

Little about Me!

Hi, my name is Sintija and till this moment my life was so, chaotic. After failing 4 years in a row in online business, blogging, Etsy store and more. I started again.

Besides that, we got a new dog and I started working in a hotel as a receptionist. I also didn’t want to leave my blog, and here I am. Starting again and figuring out what I can do better now.

My life happy thinks!

You can read more about me and what I learned after failing 4 years in row .

…..

So many changes  happened in my last 6 months. And as a busy mom, working here 9 to 5 job and still trying to be successful in online business, growing social media, learning and just trying her best.

I am here to make my new 5am morning routine that will help me to be more productive and add all my important work in morning time.

I am just honest with myself, for me it is hard to wake up at 5am in the morning, however I think that what I can do from 5am-8am is just something that I can’t do during evening time and day time.

And it is really important for me to do these tasks in the morning no matter what.

Before we start, I just want to say that I have really messy mornings and I wanted to make some changes in it, and discipline myself more to get things done that should be done no matter what. And my morning routine is mostly done 8 to 10 times or 80% of all time, that, of course is not perfect, but sustainable for me and my goals.

Okay, let’s begin..

Why is it so important to have 5am morning routines?

As someone who is again starting from zero without quitting my blog, working 9 to 5 and still doing mom things. And in the end, being women who want not only to look better, but also feel better, I wanted to make a schedule that work for me and why goals.

My personal goal is to be more productive and have personal time for myself, not my son, not my partner, just myself and things that  I want to accomplish – in other words, MY DREAMS.

My biggest problem in my life is – BALANCE. And with this 5am morning routines start I want to have time for myself. Not as mom or partner, but as women and here personal things.

From my point of view why it is so important to even have morning routines, it’s for personal growth and the right day start. That is why there are so many influences that are bragging about morning routines and morning habits, because it literally works.

It’s not easy to wake up at 5am, but believe me it’s so worth it, especially if you have a goal in your life and want to make it happen.

Why exactly 5am Morning routines?

Why exactly 5am Morning routines? Yes, you could start at 6am, maybe at 7am, but as a mom and woman my perfect time is 5am as I am waking my son up at 8am in morning and then driving him to school at 9am.

And you can see that 5am to 8am – 3h is enough for me to include my walk, meditation, affirmation, journaling time and workout.

Bed in 5am morning routines wake up time

It is hard to wake up at 5am, but if you have a dream, get in better shape, work for your blog or small business, have personal time, do your self-care morning routine that will make your skin better, you need to prioritize your precious time.

Sleep is good, but not laziness and believe me, 3h in the morning is plenty of time to start your day with an already done task that you can do for your dream.

How to plan your 5am morning routines the right way?

When you are ready to change your life or implement a morning routine that is perfect for your needs. It’s time to plan out your morning schedule.

First, when you start to plan out your morning routine or any kind of routine, you need to answer questions as:

1. What do you want to include in your morning routine?

2. What you really can do in the morning and what is best to leave in the evening time?

3. How much time do you have on your morning routine to spend on?

4.What are the things that you want to do first thing in the morning, because you know that after then you will not have time for that? Or something that you know is the best to do right in the morning.

5. How much time will you dedicate for each step?

6. And the important question is, are you ready to change your life and be consistent with your new routine? How sustainable is the morning routine that you created?

7.And in the end what will you do on the day’s when you have a different schedule. In other words, do you have an alternative option?

If you are creating a morning routine, then you should also be consistent with it, no matter what happens and that is a big step to level up your life and start loving yourself more. And we all know how life is unpredictable.

One day we are going on the trip, the second day you want to sleep more, because you had a late evening shift, or you just had a dentist appointment and you don’t feel like doing anything.

Listen there can be 100 and one things that can happen in your morning, because life is life and we all understand that things can happen.

BUT HOW ABOUT YOUR MORNING ROUTINE?

Do you have an alternative? Yes, let’s continue reading to find out more.

What to include in your 5am morning routines?

Here I need to ask you what’s important for you and what you want to do in the morning?

Don’t get me wrong, but the morning routine 🥱🧘‍♀️ is meant to be done in the morning and there are some things that maybe you want to do right away when you wake up.

Like for example I always do my workout 🤸‍♂️ in the morning , because if I skip it, then there is no way that I will do it in the day time or in the evening time. (You get me)

What I want to say is that you need to be  honest with yourself and ask yourself what is it that you want to do in the morning? ANd what is something that you can leave at a later time.

Do you want to focus more on self-care and body or more be productive combining together activities that you know that are important for you, or just have quit self time.

How my 5am morning routines look and How I prepare for one.

My morning routine can be different from what is yours. I don’t have a steady work schedule.

As I work in Hotel, I have 3 work schedule times.

Early morning shift that start at 7:30 / 8:30 to 16:00 /17:00

Middle shift that start from 10:00-18:30 pm

And Afternoon shift that start from 14:30 and goes to 11pm

From my schedule you can see that I have 2 major times: morning time and afternoon time. As it depends on what day I have to work in the morning and on what day I have the afternoon shift. I have 2 morning routines: 1 is my 5am morning routines and second is my 7am morning routine.

If I have an afternoon shift and I finish my work at 11 pm in the evening, then I am at home around 11:30 and in bed around 00:00 at midnight. There is no way that I can wake up at 5am in the morning, but 7 am is fine for me, because I still have 7 hours of good night sleep.

And I just want to do my task on that day as well.(That is why it is so important to have an alternative for your morning routine).

When I need to start my work at 7:30 or 8:30( which is by the way, rare) I do only my meditation, small workout and get ready. And that’s all.

When you are making your 5am morning routine, be mindful with times and dedicate time for your body to rest. – Sleep is so important not only for your body, but also spirit and mind.

Let’s then see how both my routines look in real life.

P.S. Please take into account that these both morning routines are meant for me to get done all my morning tasks, they include my needs and things that I actually can do in the morning.

5am morning routines pin

5am morning routines schedule.

5am – 5:15am : I usually wake up at 5am, make my bed, drink big glass of water and then go up to the bathroom to brush my teeths and wash my face.

5:15am – 5:45am : Meditation + My affirmations + Visualization ( So important for me)

5:45 – 6:00: my morning journaling.

6:00-7:00 : morning walk with my dog or workout day

7:00 – 7:45 : morning self-care routine or just get ready with me. (for me it’s usually don’t take much time, as I don’t use so much makeup)

7:45 – 8:00 : morning breakfast preparing time for my son

8:00 time to wake up my boy and get him ready for school.

7am morning routine schedule.

This is how starts my 7am morning routine if I can’t do in in 5am.

7am-7:15 : I wake up at 7am, make my bed and then go up to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face.

7:15 – 7:45 : My meditation + affirmations + visualization

7:45 – 8:00: Journaling time

8:00-9:45 : I am getting my son ready for school, breakfast and going to school.

9:45-10:45 : workout time or walk with Waffles (by, the way Waffles is our dog.)

What are my alternatives?

First, If there is a day that I can’t do my meditation, I leave that in the evening. I don’t know why, but I can meditate in the early morning and evening, when it is quiet, but not in the day.

Second, if for some reason I didn’t do my workout in the morning, I try to walk and just get my steps, no matter what. I am not sure why, but I can’t get my workout done during the day and evening, just in the morning.

Third, I don’t eat breakfast that why I don’t need special time for that, but I try to prepare breakfast and lunch for my son the day before. It just saves time.

Forth. Sometimes I forget to write in my journal about my day, but I am not sad about it. Because I can do that during the day when I have time.

You can see that my to-do a list tasks are done by both my routines. It can be in a different order, but everything that I do includes it anyway and it is a perfect daily routine for working moms like myself, who may have busy day.

And in my opinion you need to have alternatives for all the steps that are in your routine.

How do I prepare for my morning routine?

#For me, it is important to start with water. I prepare 2 liters of water with a small pinch of celtic salt for my upcoming morning. In this way I make sure that I started my morning the right way.

#Workout clothes always stay in the place where I can easily get them, that is why I don’t need to prepare them in advance.

# I don’t sleep with my phone in the room, that’s why when my partner wakes up at 4am in the morning to work, I just go and take the phone from the living room to bedroom, with alarm at 5am and 5:05. (Sometimes I am just so sleepy)

What exactly do I do in my morning routine and why?

Water. 💧

I believe that every single morning should start with BIG WARM GLASS WATER. I don’t know about you, but in the morning I can drink a lot of water, but not in the daytime.

And mostly if I don’t have any reminder I will also not drink water.

Meditation. 🧘‍♀️

For me it is so important to make time for myself and be in a quiet place with my own thoughts. Meditation helps me to feel better and be calmer, get to know my own body and mind. And just feel better.

Workouts. 💪

I love to move my body. Workouts not only boost my mood , but also help me in my weight loss journey and help me to discipline myself and be consistent. I love that feeling after a workout and that makes my morning even better.

Journaling. 📖

When I started my journaling journey I was so honest with myself, getting all my thoughts on the paper and then rereading them is the best. I not only know what I improved or not, but I also am more aware of all the things that I do. And in reality journaling helps me to let go things that are not too pleasant as well.

Getting ready for the day or self-care. 🥱💅💄

My get ready for the day definitely looks different from yours, but what I include is brushing my teeth, face care and hair. I am not a person who uses heavy makeup. I like very light makeup with day cream for skin.

What is different from other 5am morning routines?

When we start to talk about other people’s morning routines ,of course they will look different from mine, like Sarah’s 5am morning routine. She includes inside breakfast and get ready things to do as tasks for an upcoming day.

I, on the other hand, don’t eat breakfast, and my task to do list is made the previous evening, before bedtime. In that way, I already know what I will do on that day. And my biggest difference is that I don’t drink coffee at all, and don’t start the day even with black tea that I love so much.

What I love is to have a quiet moment after I did all the morning tasks, talking with my son at the breakfast desk and just then having my first cup of fresh and hot tea.

See, we all are different and there will be no perfect morning routine that works, but the best thing that you can do is just start, including your special things in your morning routine.
